The "Brainbuster" is a professional wrestling move wherein the attacker hoists the victim into a vertical state, before dropping him onto his head and neck. It's not gentle. In many ways, 2016 wasn't gentle either. Many events in my personal life, in my community, and around the world lifted me up just as much as they caused me to come crashing down. Through all of it, I felt like I made it to 2017 relatively unscathed.

"Enzuigiri," "Headlock," "Neckbreaker," "Piledriver," and "Dragon Sleeper" are all moves that target the head. Each is devastating it its own way, but with every attack there is a chance to counter and stand tall again.
